Navigating the toxic, desolate landscape of N'Erud in Remnant 2 can be a daunting task for even seasoned adventurers. The Eon Vault represents one of the major open overworld regions in this sci-fi realm, serving as a hub for critical questlines and valuable secrets. Understanding how to locate and safely explore this hazardous biome ensures that you claim every secret gear piece available.

Finding The Eon Vault Location

The Eon Vault serves as the second open overworld area when progressing through specific N'Erud campaign rollings. To reach this zone, players typically start their journey at the Forgotten Prison location and complete the first mandatory dungeon. Once you pass through the connecting boss dungeon, you will emerge into the vast desert expanse of the vault.

Key Quest Objectives and Lore Items

While exploring this location, players must secure essential story items to progress the main campaign. The most critical objective in this area is locating the Soul Spark Cylinder, which is required to advance Tal'Ratha's storyline. This quest item is hidden inside a subterranean structure within the zone's perimeter rather than inside a side dungeon.

Unlocking Secret Archetypes and Rare Loot

Braving the hazardous perimeter fog of The Eon Vault leads to some of the most sought-after treasures in N'Erud. Along the outer edges of the map, daring players can push through toxic fog to retrieve the Alien Device and the Technician Armor Set. Taking the Alien Device back to Ward 13 allows Wallace to craft the unlock item for the powerful Engineer class.

Supply Ship Event and Extra Rewards

Throughout the region, players may encounter interactive pods linked to the Supply Ship event. Activating these pods and completing the associated power restoration quest in the Dark Conduit allows the automated ship to retrieve them. Successfully launching the ship rewards players with items like the Difference Engine amulet, the Galvanized Resupply Band, and the Star Shot sidearm.
